Diya aur Baati Hum

Recently the entire cast and crew of STAR Plus’ Diya aur Baati Hum went to Ajmer to shoot a special sequence for the show. While all was well planned and everything started as per the schedule the shoot had to be stalled mid-way. The main reason for this was the overwhelming fans that had come from various parts of Pushkar and Ajmer only to get a chance to meet the actors.

In spite of having high security there was no way to stop the public from coming and meeting their favorite actors. Bhabho aka Neelu who is a very famous Rajasthani Movie actress also spoke to the fans and requested them to let them resume the shoot but all went in vain. When contacted Kanica aka Meenakshi from the show she affirmed, “We had gone to shoot a very important segment where Sooraj confesses that he is teaching Sandhya. Yes we had a situation where the fans came and stopped us from shooting. We had to then shift to a different location and work early morning in biting cold to finish the entire segment. Keeping all of this apart it was really an overwhelming response from our fans. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them and also wish them very happy Lori and Makar Sankranti.”
