Commemorating 24 glorious years of the Limca Book of Records, Coca-Cola India in its 20th year since its re-entry to India, today launched the Limca Book of Records 2013- ‘Cinema Special’ edition.The all-new edition celebrates 100 glorious years of Indian cinema and catalogues a special Cinema section acknowledging the extraordinaryachievements of 20 Indian cinematic icons as ‘People of the Year’. These luminarieshave beenchosen by an independent panel led by Member of Parliament, HK Dua, Popular Film critic & advertising professional, Monojit Lahiri and renowned film critic specializing in South Indian cinema, Prathibha Sastry.
The 24thedition of the record book was launched at a special event by Mr. Manish Tewari, Honorable Minister of State, Information & Broadcasting, Government of India along with Mr Atul Singh, President & CEO, Coca-Cola India & South West Asia and Vijaya Ghose, Editor, Limca Book of Records.The book was launched with the dazzling performance ofpopular ace artist, Vilas Nayak, one of Asia’s leading artists.
