Gopi Bahu Ne Manayi Navratri

Devoleena Bhattacharjee who plays the sweet – simple Gopi in STAR PLUS’ Saath Nibhana Saathiya decided to celebrate Navratri with great gusto. From decorating a beautiful pooja thali to lighting the diya, ensuring some favorite Guajarati delicacies were made, singing Ambe Maa’s bhajans and performing all the rituals in true traditional way, she ensured that the preparations were perfect for this Navratri.

Talking about the Navratri celebrations, Devoleena said, “Though I’m originally a Bengali, Durga Pooja is our biggest festival and I personally celebrate this in a typical Bengali style. Playing Gopi Bahu has made me familiar with the Gujarati tradition and now I know almost all the rituals performed during Navratri in Gujarat. I love singing bhajans, offering Prasad and doing the garba.”

She further adds, “In the show as well we have planned a huge Navratri track ahead for the viewers. The entire Modi family will be seen celebrating the festival in its true spirit amidst song, dance and food alongside an entire drama rolling out. Gopi will be seen trying to bring Rashi and Jigar back together with Ahem’s support.”
