Keith to play Sandhya's mentor

VJ-turned actor Keith Sequeira will be seen in a special appearance in Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum.

Keith will play the role of a cycle-trainer C.P. Roy who will motivate Sandhya (played by Deepika Singh) at all levels possible to perform better at the police training academy. His character will be inspired by Shah Rukh Khan's character from Chak De India.

Delighted to grab such a vital role, Keith says, "It's a three-episode special appearance. I will push Sandhya, who is undergoing training at police training academy, to perform better."

Several actors including Manoj Bajpayee, Jimmy Shergill and Rahul Bose were approached for the part.
