Deepika postpones her holiday

WORK COMES BEFORE HOLIDAY FOR DEEPIKA

Television actress Deepika Singh, who is otherwise seen as the demure bahu in Diya Aur Baati Hum, has let go of her personal space and time for her on screen character. Deepika plays the role of Sandhya, a girl who aspires to become an IPS officer in the daily soap.

The actor who hails from Delhi has been shooting nonstop for the IPS track which is getting shot at an outdoor location of Karnal. The shoot has been lined up at the IPS academy in Karnal where Deepika has been undergoing rigorous training since the last twenty days to make the scenes as real as possible for the audience.

During the training, the actress wanted her expressions to be exactly like Farhan's when he ran in the desert dragging tyres behind him in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. In order to get the same look the actress requested the production team to tie two tyres and add weights to her leg so that she could feel the exertion. The production team was happy to assist Deepika and applauded her for her dedication towards the track. Deepika had applied for leave to go on a holiday with her parents, but she postponed the plans so that she could finish shooting for this important sequence.

The raising TRP’s are the result of the dedication that each and every actor is showing in the show.
