Aditi Sajwan makes her entry

Such depiction of character hasn’t happened on TV: Aditi Sajwan (Ek Hasina Thi)

They say everyone has a past and so has the ravishing Durga Thakur (played by Sanjeeda Sheikh) in Star Plus’ Ek Hasina Thi. With the unveiling of Durga’s true identity, Aditi Sajwan has embarked her entry into the show. She is playing the character of Nitya Mitra who has now become Durga Thakur.

Adding a very unconventional twist to an already thrilling plot Aditi’s entry will surely make it more appealing. Since Durga has already occupied a place in the minds of the viewers, it’ll be really exciting to watch that how Nitya will establish her place.

Happy with the opportunity to play Nitya’s character, beautiful actress Aditi said, “This is a very unique role and I’m loving it. Such depiction of character hasn’t happened on TV and it’s great to be a part of it. Even though the character is one there is a great contrast between the personalities of Nitya and Durga.  As such Nitya is a very simple girl with a humble upbringing, strongly tied to her values and culture with fond attachment to her sibling. She does not fear and stands up for what is right. In the show Nitya kills herself to give birth to Durga for a reason.”
